We have amazing parents who love to celebrate our teachers. Our teachers work hard with our kids daily, honestly they go above and beyond. We thank you all for your help and support to help the PTSO do what we do best… support our staff and students. It doesn’t go unnoticed.
We love that we never have a hard time finding volunteers to help us celebrate the wonderful staff at Fort Couch Middle School.

November 2023 Fort Couch PTSO General Meeting 09/11/2023

Join Us For the Next PTSO Meeting
For the November 21st PTSO meeting at Fort Couch middle school at 11:30 am we will have two guests. They will be 7th grade Counselor Jace Palmer and USC community member Mike Burch. Jace and Mike will be able to answer questions and explain some details about their presentations to the 7th grade and 8th grade Guidance Classes that will be occurring in January, 2024. Jace and Mike have been making powerful and meaningful presentations to all of the USC graduating classes since 2008, and have reached well over 5,000 students and community members. The presentation focuses on the dangers of drugs (especially harder drugs such as opiates and fentanyl), as the two men recount the story of Mike's son Bryan, a graduate of Upper St. Clair who tragically died of a he**in overdose. The abuse of prescription pain medication and the recent influx of the powerful drug fentanyl have unfortunately contributed to the overdose epidemic that has been present in our country for well over two decades. Mike and Jace's message to the students is a very realistic portrayal of what can happen to a person who makes the wrong choice by using substances that can turn out to be deadly.
