Empowering Girls To Achieve Their Dreams
MOSTe (Motivating Our Students Through Experience) is a community-based college-access organization that encourages young women to pursue their education. We partner with six Title 1 middle schools in Los Angeles to develop the next generation of college-educated women who will transform their communities, our city, and the world.
We place students in supportive relationships with professional female mentors who act as friends, advisors, and guides on the journey toward higher education.
Our programming helps scholars build social and emotional skills and identify potential educational paths and career interests. Our curriculum is designed to encourage students to think and speak for themselves in all aspects of their lives. Through workshops, cultural events, and volunteer service activities, students develop confidence in their abilities and begin to fully realize their potential. Competitive MOSTe scholarships enable students to offset some of the costs of college.
Our hope is to empower girls to be anything they dream of being without fear or lack of confidence.
