And now for something completely different: This morning my new book, Between the Covers, released! It is a nonfiction book to explain the publishing process to authors who have written a book but don’t know the next steps to actually publish it. It is geared toward self-publishing authors but will help traditionally publishing authors and industry professionals who may be very experienced in one area of publishing but have less knowledge in the other departments understand the process too. It’s a quick, conversational read and jam-packed with information. If publishing interests you, please check it out!

You may or may not have heard that Ellie has a new book coming out. It’s called Between the Covers and it is all about the publishing process from rough manuscript to published book. Basically it’s a how-to guide for self-publishing authors who have written a book and want to publish it but they don’t know the process/where to begin. Anyway, though the book does discuss production, here is a cool look at the process of printing the book. This is different than the type of printing you’d get from Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) or any other digital (print-on-demand) printer, but it does show what you might get if you choose to print traditionally.
This is very nerdy, but if it interests you, take a look!! (And watch for Between the Covers, which will release in early March. This topic and many more are discussed at length in Ellie’s forthcoming book.)
