I know I looked tired but so happy in the picture but this is what it is . I’m done !!!
My testimony:
It was a long journey. I am graduated in Nutrition 25 years ago in Brazil and worked in nutrition education and weight management for 24 years in Peabody, MA. My internship was in Brazil in 1998. When I started doing the RD test in 2007, I bought a lot different materials and could never connect the dots because I just read the materials and I’m not 100% committed with the test. After many tentatives in last July after praying and asking the Lord for light, I found a video in YouTube about a testimony in which the girl spoke about Maryam. I got in touch with her and I made the 7 weeks program she was amazing teacher and I remembered and learned a lot but my score in her class questions was around 78-80% so I decided to make the 10 weeks in which my knowledge solidified my score was 89-96% and after that I did the 3 extensive review with a lot of questions 2 weeks before my test that was amazing . I also used pocket prep and Inman. I was 100% committed to Maryam's course. She said make a vision board I made it, put in the bathroom wall the digestive system I did it LOL….. it wasn't easy because I work everyday and have a husband and 3 children, but 100% committed . God helped me persevere. And Today I'm here sharing this victory with you, I finally passed.
Thank you Maryam, God put you in my path, you helped me a lot. I highly recommend your courses. Thank you to my colleagues “ students partners “ Fabiana, Natiezka, Nasheba, Thomas, Cristina and Izabel, you are a blessing, love you guys. Special thanks to my family for their enormous support.
To God all honor and all glory. God wanted this victory today in my life by his grace.

Everyone, I PASSED MY EXAM!! I am still in shock. I passed on my second attempt with a score of 29. The first time I took the exam I got a 24 and I was absolutely devastated! More so because I hated the thought of having to study all over again. However, deep down I knew I didn’t feel confident to have that RD title next to my name. I still had a lot of information I needed to know.
I took Maryam’s 7-weeks course and I’m so glad that I invested in her tutoring! I truly believe I could not have done it without her guidance. Clinical was never my strong suit but the way she explained MNT was so clear and understandable. Not only were her classes thorough, they were also very motivating! I am a very self disciplined person but when it came to studying for the RD exam, it all seemed so overwhelming and it was tough knowing where to start. Maryam’s class was so structured and easy to follow along.
Although Maryam played a part in my ability to pass the exam, doing self studying and mental work is SO CRUCIAL. Usually everyone’s fear when they are getting ready to take the exam is being scared not passing the first time. But I urge all of you to get out of your head and let go of that self doubt. We have all done our schooling and gained experience during our internship. So we are ALL capable of passing this exam. Once you start believing in yourself, life starts to work in unbelievable ways. ❤️❤️

Even if you NEED to avoid oxalate (many people with stones don't need to worry about oxalate!) - it is still SUPER important to eat plenty of fruits and veggies.
Study after study show us that people who eat MORE produce are less likely to have kidney stones.
Don't worry! There are plenty of tasty low oxalate options if you DO need to limit oxalate.
Here are some of my favorites!
Check out my newest article - all about low oxalate fruit! www.thekidneydietitian.org/low-oxalate-fruit
