A great opportunity close to home to get on a team, or develop yourself as an individual player.

🚨Revised Spring & Summer Offerings🚨

A core of Advance Basketball’s mission is to meet athletes where they are in the developmental process of their basketball journey. We also understand that summer can bring the challenge of balancing other sports, as well as well-deserved family time. Therefore, we are launching a variety of spring & summer opportunities to not only meet athletes where they are in their developmental process, but to also meet the schedule demands many of them face.

Athletes who are interested in participating in travel teams and playing weekend tournaments (5 weekends between April to June), while practicing one night a week have the option to try out for a travel team (3rd-High School).

Those who believe their schedule would not allow weekend commitments have the opportunity to develop their basketball skills by joining our Developmental League for 3rd-8th grade. There will be two 6-week sessions where athletes will participate once a week to enhance their basketball skills, knowledge and game environment experience. The first hour of the session will be devoted to specific aspects of basketball - ball handling, rebounding, finishing, shooting, defense, etc. The second hour will provide athletes the opportunity to experience competitive game play - 4 v 4 or 5 v 5. These games will be scored and officiated.

For those athletes that do not have the limitations during summer and want to focus more on basketball, the opportunity to participate on both a travel team as well as the developmental league could be a great option. Below is additional information, but please let us know if you have any questions.

Travel Teams
Season is April-June
5 tournaments
Practice 1x/week - Thursdays (Wellman YMCA)
