How amazing is this little fella. A broken collar bone won’t stop him working hard!

Amazing early maths skills today with a spot of problem solving too. Great number fun in the the Den this morning. 🧮

Things are a little hectic right now so I’ve not posted for a while. We are still beavering away here in the Den but i just need to take a moment to show you what I’ve walked into today. I absolutely love it when my little people leave me these messages on the board before they go home. We were working on early joined up handwriting last night and this little chap did an incredible job. He left feeling so proud of himself but also clearly wanted to leave me a message too!
Ps that’s me Incase you were wondering 🤣😂

It was lovely to see just how much work came from finding one little conker today.

Some fabulous fun in the Den today. This little lady is only 5 and managed to play using two cards at once. She also beat me! Phonics is fantastic for learning early reading skills but there is a place for sight words too. Learning Resources

It’s a kind of a day today. was our book of choice.

How lucky am I? I have lovely children and amazing parents popping into the Den. At the end of my sessions today one parent arrived to pick up his child and dropped this off for me.

I’m so proud of this little lot. Each and every one of them works so hard every week. Be it online or in person they blow me away with their positive attitude to their work. Well done guys. You are all amazing 🤩

Fun with phonics in the Den tonight. Fabulous work from this little fella. His confidence grows every week.

This week has been about annual maintenance in the Den. When we first built it I had an image in my head of what it should look like. It arrived with the panels ready treated so we didn’t want to paint it straight away. However it’s been in the garden for nearly a year now so this week Mr H and myself finally added the finishing touches. I hope you like the end product!

The Den is having a half term, outdoor make over. Watch this space peeps.
