Dr. Ankur Garg, Professor MIET Meerut were invited as Speaker on “World Telecommunication Day” on Friday, 17th May 2019 and the theme was “Bridging the Standardization Gap”. organized by The Institute of Engineers- IEI (India, Meerut Local Centre) in Collaboration with BSNL, UP (W) Meerut

Dr. Ankur Garg starts his presentation with two videos – the first video defines the meaning of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD), it also shows the establishment history of WTISD, The second video was about the working of International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and challenges of Bridging the Standardization Gap. After that Dr. Ankur Garg tells about Outcome Based Education, Bridging the technology gap through Academic Institutions, Academia-Industry relationship, Current industry trends and advantages of ITU for Bridging the Standardization Gap. The chairman of IEI welcomes the Guest. During this session Mr. Er. A.K. Bajpai, Chief GM BSNL, UP(W) Meerut and Mr. CP Gupta from IEI were present there along with their senior and Experienced staff.

CSE final year student Ashutosh Deshwal has design new intelligent dustbin based on AI.

MIET CSE has organized the 5 days training on IBM Security Intelligence. Dr. D.K. Sharma Dean MIET, Dr. Pradeep Pant HOD CSE, Dr. Ankur Garg, Dr. Mukesh Rawat, and other CSE Faculty were present during training.

It is a great pleasure to inform you that United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) has launched the “Space for Youth Competition” as part of their efforts to amplify the voice of youth.

This competition is open to all students and young professionals who want to have their voice heard at the international space community level and to show how their generation can contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through space applications.
