Dear Teachers, Don't miss out. We now have many recorded stories with additional music, song, sound effects and visuals. You can have ten different stories, told by some of your favourite storytellers, Kate Corkery, Sef Townsend, June Peters, Tuup and Anne Johnson for the very reasonable cost of £200. Then they are yours to use whenever you want. Story time can be anytime. Get in touch.

We are pleased to let our supporters know that we are developing a partnership with the organisation; 'Under One Sky'. This is an organisation that provides a space for refugee and asylum-seeking children aged five to eleven within the London area to learn and develop through nature and conversation. They have asked to buy our videoed stories to encourage the children's literacy and creativity. Once the Covid restrictions are lifted and when funds allow we shall also explore the possibility of live storytelling events in outdoor spaces with the children.
See their website on: underonesky.org.uk

I know this isn't strictly what Everyday Magic is about but I can't resist posting this sane, courteous and decent message because for all the young ones and teachers that we engage with in our London schools a message like this is inspiring and sets young ones on a right path.

The Big Issue website have created a lovely page in order to sell 'London Folk Tales for Children'. It is up and running so do buy some copies for Christmas presents and let's raise some money for those who don't have a home of their own.

27/10/2020

The Big Issue shop will be stocking 'London Folk Tales for Children' by Anne Johnson and Sef Townsend, illustrated by Belinda Evans from November 7th. Profits are to go to 'The Big Issue'.
We feel strongly that the balance of history favours the mighty and the tales in our book favour the passed over and dispossessed. We are happy to be able to give a little to those who are homeless in these difficult times.

Everyday Magic storytellers have been recording stories, songs and rhymes for our partner schools to complement our live visits. We have had some good times here at Deptford Wharf.

Greetings to all the teachers and TA's that we work with. It is great to be back. Our first 'live' performances this term were in Gifford and Lady Margaret schools.
We want to do whatever we can to help the schools reassure, relax and engage the children.
Last week Nell Phoenix and Tuup have been doing just that.
Lucky children.
