Congratulations to students recognized at tonight’s board meeting for their state-level achievements! Trustees and Dr. Jimerson celebrated All-State Band musicians and student-athletes for their success at the UIL state wrestling tournament and UIL state swim meet. 👏

BISD names Blake Meyer as Head Football Coach and Athletic Coordinator at Centennial High School. Hired by Coach Kyle Geller in 2010 when the campus opened, Meyer played a key role in establishing the football program and has been instrumental in the success of CHS athletics. With 25 years of high school coaching experience, he has served as the defensive coordinator for the past 15 years. Centennial High School will host a reception for staff, players, and parents from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, in the indoor facility. Learn more: bit.ly/CHSCoachMeyer

After consulting with JoCo Emergency Management and local weather services, BISD intends to operate on a normal schedule for Wednesday, February 19. BISD announces Kyle Geller as BISD Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Operations. With nearly 30 years of coaching experience, including 20 as a head coach, Geller brings expertise, leadership, and a track record of success to his new position.
