Today we gave our garbage men cold drinks and snacks! We are so thankful to have sanitation workers who always honk, wave, & are so friendly to the kids! We wanted to show them how much we appreciate them!

I haven’t done a cucumber update in awhile. We planted our cucumber plants as a class on Earth Day (April 22). We’ve already picked one cucumber and we have many more still growing! 🥒💕

We love spending time in our cozy reading corner!
During the 2021-2022 school year we read a total of 351 books. I always love to see how many we will end up reading together. Books are so important and such a good way to learn! Each month we have a book of the month that we pick from our book order. We read it together and the parents buy their child a copy to take home. These are the books we did this school year for our book of the month program.
Today we had our second water day of the summer! With it being so hot outside, it was a perfect day for it! We also took turns finger painting outside in our bathing suits! Then we ate popsicles for a treat!
Some outside pictures I snapped this morning! We are loving this weather!💕
Today marks 7 weeks since we planted our cucumbers! They are growing beautifully and we can’t wait to make pickles! 🥒

Jolene discovered the mirror this week! Look at that cute smile!
We had a tree down during that last big storm we had. When Teen Challenge came to cut and clean it up, I asked if they could cut the trunk into stumps for our playground. It’s been awhile since we’ve had walking/jumping stumps and the kids couldn’t be more excited!
Everyone got to water their plants! 💦🌱
To celebrate earth day, we made recycled starter planters out of play-doh containers and popsicle sticks. We then planted cucumbers both in our planters and some to watch grow throughout the summer! Once their cucumber starters start to grow they will be sent home to be replanted in the ground! We can’t wait to watch them grow! 🌎♻️🌱💙🥒
Today is Earth Day!🌎
The kids brought a recycled project to school to share with the class! We had some super cute & creative projects this year! ♻️
