This event is not posted anywhere on SFUSD's website, newsletters or communications. So we are posting this here for public shared use so all Teachers, Schools sites, Parents and Students can know about it

From SFUSD Facilities Dawn K:

"On April 5, 9:00 am, join the Outdoor Learning Stakeholder Workshop to provide feedback on: 1) metrics to evaluate the success of projects, 2) the types of projects we should fund, 3) an application process for school sites to submit projects for funding. The feedback we gather will influence Facilities Division recommendations on how to allocate the $14m in 2016 School Bonds designated for Outdoor Learning. Please register in advance [here](https://sfusd.zoom.us/.../register/WN_i8WUzJk2TCO7eJH51uDTZA). I've been looking forward to this for months - all throughout the past two years, parents have consistently advocated for more time outside for the kids. With these funds, we are hoping to provide resources to school sites with principal's sponsorship and a supportive community to help realize their outdoor learning vision! See you April 5th!"

FUND SCHOOLS!
No one in school district management has received layoff notices.

As part of its plan to drastically cut the public school budget, the San Francisco Unified School District has sent layoff notices to more than 500 paraeducators, certified teacher, family liaisons, community school coordinators, social workers, counselors and language teachers.

It’s time to stop the insanity that is killing public education I am the child of a public schoolteacher. I am the parent of a son who has been a public schoolteacher and who remains a private instructor in a public high school. Many dear friends are public schoolteachers. As a child, I helped my mother grade papers every night, and I watched her work long ho

San Francisco League of Pi**ed Off Voters 20/01/2022

SF Families Union says NO RECALLS on SCHOOL BOARD!

"The recall campaigns have raised over $1.3 million, largely from conservative forces like the SF Chamber of Commerce, the CA Association of Realtors, and corporations like PG&E and VISA. Their top funders include venture capitalists who want to privatize public schools and/or expand charter schools

Remember when Transphobic Bathroom Segregationist Josephine Zhao was drummed out of the 2018 school board race? She’s baaack - as a petition consultant for the recall campaign, which paid her $111,000. Sad Fact: The starting salary for an SFUSD teacher is $54,000, less than half that.

Sneak Peek: Recall supporters are also proposing a ballot measure to stop electing the school board and switch to mayoral appointments – whaaaaaat?!"
