Unfortunately, due to a number of conflicts, I need to reschedule our Lake County AP/Deans meeting in February. Originally, we were scheduled to meet on Tuesday, February 9th. THE MEETING WILL NOW BE MOVED TO WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH. We will plan on starting at the same time (8:15 am) and same location (Wauconda High School). The Illinois State Deans' Association is a staewide organization comprosed fo high school and junior high school principals, assistant principals, deans, assistant deans, and security personnel who deal with student discipline, attendance, school safety, security and other similar concerns.
The next Lake County AP/Deans meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 10th at Warren HS (Almond Campus). The meeting will start at 8:15 AM. The Almond Campus is located at 34090 Almond Rd. in Gurnee.

We want to share with you that at Libertyville High School, we have an opening for a Team Director, (Dean of Students), starting this coming 2015-2016 school year.
Dr. Sara Rogers, our wonderful teammate will leave LHS at the end of this year for a new and exciting opportunity at Stevenson High School. At Stevenson, Sara will work with Steve Tucker and his talented, yet far less funny and attractive team. ;)
As the ISDA is an extension of our school climate family, we send this out to all of you in hopes that you can spread the word to those possibly looking to join Libertyville High School.

The first half of the meeting will be ISDA business and a discussion of their April 21st conference. Session two, from approximately 1:30 to 3:00, will be a discussion of alternatives to traditional discipline. Lunch will be served upon arrival. Our agenda will focus on the upcoming spring conference being held on April 21st.
