Larbert East Playgroup

Good evening all mums, our rota sheet will be going up this week and for each week up until the Christmas holidays but at the moment we are looking for one mum to help out each morning this week (2 on Thursday)
If anyone can stay we would really appreciate and just let me know thanks in advance x

Larbert East Toddlers Group and Playgroup are a great place for children and parents to come along and meet other parents and children of the same ages in the Larbert, Stenhousemuir, Kinnaird & Carron area

Monday Mornings in the hall is for children (along with parents) from the age of around 13/14 months onwards. The group starts at 9-30 until 11am with a large variety of puzzles & toys to entertain children until the morning finishes off with a song time.

PLAYGROUP runs Tuesday to Friday each week and is for children from around 27/28 months until just over 3 years of age when they will step up to Pre school Nursery
Again a large hall filled with toys, games, puzzles and assortment of books, crafts etc to fill the morning which runs from 9-30 until 11-25 we also have an outdoor area to play when weather permits.
At both groups we provide a snack & drink for wee ones.

Good Morning everyone
Hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine again today it’s been a summer of mixed weather but hope you’ve all had a lovely time.
Just to say both groups return on week starting 19th of August , same time for the Monday morning toddlers but playgroup is now running from 9-30 until 11-25
We have recharged batteries and are all looking forward to seeing our returning wee ones and look forward to meeting the new starts

Hi all parents
Just a short note to say l hope you all have a lovely summer holidays
I’m so sorry I’ve not been able to see and say Bye this week to all the wee ones moving on to nursery due to being unwell , first time ever and feels strange but l hope everything goes smoothly heading up to big nursery, they are all more than ready to move on
We all look forward to seeing our returning children in August
A huge thank you to our helpers over the last year and last but certainly not least to Lisa & Rachel who have really come into playgroup this last year and settled in with ease.
Thank you both again for this week.

I hope you all enjoy your fun day out tomorrow, just wish l could be there but I’m sure won’t be missed in all the fun n games.

Good Morning all parents
We’d just like to say Welcome back to Playgroup and what a lovely week we had seeing all the children settling in after the holidays.
I’m looking to check everyone has noticed the Rota board on the door, we have had a few parents adding names but we still need to fill a lot of spaces
(Below is a list of help needed for the next couple of weeks, then it will be on the board to be filled in) .
Parent help is invaluable to allow us to run playgroup safely and is greatly appreciated

Good Afternoon all Parents
We hope you all had a lovely 🎄 holiday and just to remind you that Toddlers returns tomorrow (Monday 8th) and Playgroup starts again on Tuesday (9th)
We look forward to seeing you all again and welcoming the children back to the groups. XX

It’s been a very hectic but happy time at playgroup this week
The children have been busy making their stockings and baubles and doing their handprints bags , we hope you all know how amazing and enthusiastic they were doing the bags, sorry l didn’t get more pics
Next week is our last week of playgroup with our party on Friday, before we finish for the Christmas holidays
If for any reason your child cannot attend the party please let us know so we can hand over their gift on their last day.,

GOOD MORNING ALL PARENTSJUST A REMINDER TO SAY OUR LAST DAY FOR PLAYGROUP IS NEXT FRIDAY (15th) AND WE WILL BE HAVING OUR CHRISTMAS PARTY THAT DAY, WHICH ALL THE PLAYGROUP CHILDREN ARE INVITED TO ATTEND
I WILL BE POSTING A NOTE ON THE DOOR REGARDING TIMES AND WHEN PARENTS RETURN ETC X

The children have been making their Christmas candles at playgroup this week and we have started our fundraising campaign with our very popular bags , forms handed out , ask if you didn’t receive ( this helps with Santa and a gift for all the children)
As we are going to be very busy with all things Christmas over the next 2 weeks we are looking for an extra mum each morning . if you haven’t helped at all this year then please can you volunteer to stay or check rota as I’m adding a few names . Thank you in advance xx

Good Morning all Parents
This is the last week of fees for this block for the groups please could we ask if you could pay any outstanding fees ASAP
A reminder that Toddlers is not on next Monday (20th ) and Playgroup will not be on Friday 24th November as nurseries & schools are off for in-service day
As our playleaders and some parents have wee ones at nursery & school it means closing for the morning x

Good morning mums just to say Tuesday will be dress up day for Halloween
Please can l ask no painted scary faces, swords, wands etc,
We don’t want to be spoilsports but some wee ones don’t like the dress up part of it.
PS The ROTA sheet is on the door to be fillled in by all parents on a day they can help so please feel free to add your child’s name , this will take us up to the last day before we finish in the 15th December
I’m also looking for 1 or 2 parents to stay on Tuesday as unfortunately I’m unable to be there on the morning and it would help enormously if we could have a couple more volunteers
