Huge Congrats to our WE Saxos and Dr. Adams for being amazing representatives for as they played at the CBDNA National conference! This is UTK’s first ever appearance at the CBDNA National Conference. We are so proud of our students hard and talent!! GO VOLS!!

Our Concert Band and Symphonic Band Saxos performed a wonderful concert last night! The groups performed many work including some by Karl King, Norman Dello Joio, and Susan LaBarr. We are so proud of their work and excited to see their next concert in April!

Congrats to the UT Sax Ensemble and Quartets on a great recital last weekend! This is an awesome group!!

This past week all three ensembles performed their first concert of the ‘24 season. Wind Ensemble had John Mackey in residence as they performed his piece “Wine Dark Sea”! We are so excited for our Saxos this year!

Congrats on a great studio recital!

My students are the best. This week they have checked in to see how I'm doing and gave me a thoughtful card and a framed version of the picture below. The legacy of Dr. Rousseau will live on in his "grand-students"!
