“This summer I participated in the TECBio Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program at the University of Pittsburgh. Through the program, I worked with faculty and graduate student mentors conducting computational biology research. My project focused on modeling creatinine clearance in the kidney during acute kidney injury (AKI) with consideration of the impact of fluid volume intake and output.”
