Maths Tutor - Knaresborough

Two of my students finished their GCSE resit exams last week. They both think they went well, so while we wait with fingers crossed for their results, this is a post to say I have new availability for Maths tutees!

I have tutored 11 students over the past couple of years, from Year 6 to GCSE level. Tutoring will take place virtually, meaning I can welcome tutees from across the UK and beyond!

Hi everyone. These are very uncertain and potentially worrying times. It looks like I'm going to be finishing my degree remotely, and I am aware of the recent announcements to suspend schools and cancel GCSE exams.

I would be happy to offer Maths tuition to students in Year 10 and below who are concerned about missing out on content and teaching while schools are suspended. If Year 11 students find out they may be resitting, they are also very welcome for tutoring. Please do message me for a no-obligation chat.

In the current situation, I am happy to offer tutoring over Skype. I am researching other platforms that may better lend themselves to Maths tutoring to ensure that my service isn't compromised.

Hi everyone, I'm going to be back in Knaresborough soon and looking forward to tutoring over the Christmas holidays!

Even just a couple of sessions on some topics that a student finds tricky can really boost their confidence and help them put their best foot forward for the rest of the school year.

I will be away for a couple of days here and there, visiting family and so on. With Christmas being a busy time, I am very happy for sessions to be arranged on a more casual ad hoc basis, rather than a weekly time slot.

Today was my last summer tutoring session after 3 months of seeing 3 tutees for weekly sessions! They have all really improved this summer in between Year 10 and 11.
