MICELT The idea of The Malaysia International Conference on English Language Teaching (MICELT) was conceived in July 1995.

Dr. Jayakaran Mukundan, lecturer in the Faculty of Educational Studies, UPM felt the need for a conference that would be organized by the Faculty of Educational Studies, UPM.
