Introducing the GMAT Focus Edition! 📚🎯
📊 Extended Score Report (ESR): GMAT test-takers can now access an Extended Score Report (ESR) for any administration within the last 5 years. Dive deep into your performance data for each section and question type, including a valuable time management breakdown. And guess what? GMAC has enhanced these reports for the GMAT Focus Edition, making them absolutely FREE!
⏰ Enhanced Time Management: The GMAT Focus Edition will provide a comprehensive breakdown of your performance and time management skills. Each time you take the test, you'll receive a detailed document highlighting your strengths and areas for improvement.
📩 Streamlined Score Reporting: Unlike the current GMAT format, the GMAT Focus Edition allows you to view your scores before selecting up to 5 business schools to send them to. This means you no longer have to pre-select schools without knowing your scores. You can now make an informed decision and send scores only to your desired institutions. Additionally, there's no need to cancel scores on the GMAT Focus Edition; you can simply choose to send them to other less competitive business schools if they don't meet your M7 standards.
🔄 Greater Control: With the GMAT Focus Edition, each school will only receive the scores from the administration you choose to send. Gone are the days of schools seeing your scores from the last 5 years. You have complete control over which scores each institution receives.
Get ready for a more personalized and efficient GMAT experience with the GMAT Focus Edition! 🌟 "

GMAC, the organization that administers the , recently announced that the GMAT is changing. Here's what we know so far: GMAC has collaborated with business school professionals representing different types and sizes of programs from around the world to develop a test that is more relevant to the skills needed in today's business world. The new exam format has also been tested with candidates from different demographic backgrounds to ensure that it is fair and equitable.
The new GMAT format has several key changes. First, it is shorter, with only three 45-minute sections, compared to the current format's four sections. Additionally, the essay section has been removed, and all questions are now multiple-choice. This change streamlines the testing experience and reduces the amount of content that test-takers need to study.
Another significant change is the ability to choose the order in which test-takers complete the sections. This flexibility allows individuals to choose the order that works best for them and their test-taking strategy. Furthermore, the improved score sending feature enables test-takers to send their scores to five schools for free after receiving them.
Finally, the new GMAT™ Focus Edition includes an improved Official Score Report with personalized insights. The report provides detailed feedback on performance, highlighting strengths and weaknesses in specific areas, allowing test-takers to better focus their preparation for future exams.
The new GMAT™ Focus Edition is set to launch later in 2023, while the current GMAT format will remain available until early 2024.
