The Story

The idea behind The Mission Armada started in 2013 when the founder, Danial Dadkhoo, was an aspiring healthcare professional at the University of Maryland who wanted to enter professional schools. Knowing how important finding shadowing and experiential learning experiences were in the process of going to professional school, Danial set out to find relevant experiences. After a long search, he saw how hard it was to find these experiences. He was not alone and saw that his peers were also having a hard time finding similar experiences. He set out to create a way for students to acquire more than just an “experience”. If finding experiences was not hard enough, finding many opportunities to narrow down career interests was nearly impossible. TMA was made with the mission to bridge that gap. Beyond just providing our students experiential learning alongside leading professionals and institutions around the world, we aim to be the bridge for our students future professional networks. We aim to empower our students with a professional network that allows them to easily find future internships, opportunities, events, and more once they return home from our missions. We aim to be a part of our student’s lives for the rest of their careers and not just be an “experience”.
