50 BPS cut on interest rates by the Fed today...with the expectation of another 50 BPS cut again before the end of the year...and 100 bps cut over the next year! What does this mean? Well essentially this makes money cheaper to borrow....and in terms of the markets historically in the short term it causes a rally and assets tend to pump....BUT if you zoom out at the bigger picture, every time the FED pivots from rate increases or holds...and begins to lower rates...it is follow by a recession or stagnation in the markets and economy.... See what happened to the markets in the 1970, 1980, 1990, and 2007 Rate cut. Given the dramatic change of how the economic and stock market systems operate (not to mention the speed of broad retail communication) It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out...As for me... I am sitting in mostly cash, and hope assets over time become undervalued, to snap up a deal.

Today through a FIOA request released last week...it was found out through emails between Senator Warren, and the board of the SEC that all of the crypto currency related sessions/hearings at the House were all scripted/pre-planned, with the goal to slander the industries reputation, and force regulation. Gary Gensler's advisers went back and forth with Senator Warren, coaching her on the exact line of questioning they wanted to force a specific narrative. Ultimately there plan did not work.....shady.

Welp....apparently the New York Stock Exchange just bricked itself, and had to be haled.... multiple multi-billion dollar companies just fell 90-99% in seconds...and they don't know how or why.

Just a hunch but I feel like the NYSE needs to up its cyber security protocols....
