MEETING TODAY AT 4:00!! ALMA CITY PARK. WILL BE FIRST MEETING AS A COMBINED WABAUNSEE ELEMENTARY.

A few reminders for the week:
Monday : Art & Music Night - art viewing begins at 5:30 at AES followed by the concert at 6:00 in the high school auditorium
Wedneday: 2nd Grade Penny War Pizza Party and all school ice cream party
Friday: Field Day at the Football Field ~ K-2 in the morning, 3-5 in the afternoon

NEXT MONDAY, MAY 15 will be the last day for all elementary students. They will dismiss at regular time.

It's that time of year, FIELD DAY!! Friday, May 12th is the day this year. Last year was a great success thanks to all of the parent volunteers we had to help run stations and support kids. Things will look a little different this year as we are hosting all of Maple Hill and Alma Kindergarten-2nd grade in the morning, and all of Maple Hill and Alma 3rd-5th grade in the afternoon.

Donuts with Grown Ups 🍩 and Penny Wars 💰were a HUGE success this morning. Thank you to everyone who participated!

🎯We have gracious volunteers who transport and count all these coins. Will know the results in about a week! Pizza party for the winning class! 🍕🍕

Who will win??!! The kids love participating in this FUNdraiser! Send your loose change with them all week and see which class collects the most points! PENNIES, BILLS, CHECKS & VENMO all ADD to the class jar while all SILVER subtracts! Jars will "close" Friday after Donuts with Grown Ups. Winners will be announced next week.

DONUT forget to mark your calendars for next Friday morning! Donuts with Grown Ups will be from 7:40 to 8:10 on the West Playground. We always love to see who the student's ask to join them for a fun morning event!🍩🍩🍩

It will be the last day of Penny Wars so be sure to clean out the couch cushions, the bottom of your purse, your cars console and all the other places you drop change in to! The class with the most points earns a Pizza Party!

State Assements start tomorrow and Thursday for grades 3-5. Please try and make sure your child is getting to bed early and has breakfast. They will continue next week.

Grade 3, 4 & 5 will be participating in State Testing several days in April. Please be sure your child gets to bed early and has a good breakfast on those days. Teachers will be sending home a schedule of these dates and test.

Support Wabaunsee Stallions Football!! Join the Golf Tournament April 23rd at Wabaunsee Pines! All proceeds benefit our local youth football program. Contact Dustin Hall with questions.

All USD 329 schools are on a 2 hour delay Thursday, January 12. Busses will run 2 hours later than normal.

Illness is still floating around. Please remind your kiddos about sneezing in elbows, hand washing and not sharing water bottles. Washing coats, hats, gloves and backpacks is a great way stop the spread too.

Reminder!! School will be dismissed at 1:00 on Friday. All classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan 3, 2023.
