The Jr/Sr High staff had a little fun with their students last week with a secret Staff Spirit Week. Teachers dressed in school colors, sports gear, headpieces, 80's garb and our favorite, "dress like a student day". How long do you think it took students to notice? 😅💙💛💙

The Elementary Drama Club and Jr/Sr High volunteers took a special trip to see Annie at Proctors Theatre this weekend. Thank you to the Mayfield Drama Club for creating an opportunity for these young performers to get inspired!

Come join us TONIGHT at High Rollers Skating and support the Class of 2028!

Check out these fun and festive designs from the UBelong Club's Gingerbread House contest this week! The club hosted neighboring schools and everyone got in the holiday spirit. 🎁🎄☃️

The National Junior Honor Society recently collected donations for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and will be sending in a check for $437 to the organization that makes dreams come true for critically ill children. Great job to these students for their collective effort to give back this holiday season.

'Tis the season of giving! Thank you to David Newkirk and members of the Mayfield Grange along with the Mayfield Fire Department for their donation of 53 dictionaries to our 3rd grade students. The Grange has been donating dictionaries to Mayfield 3rd graders for over 20 years, we are grateful for their dedication to our school.

Congratulations to Alexis Broderick on signing a letter of intent to continue her academic and softball career at Herkimer College.

An outstanding athlete known for her hard work and dedication, Alexis has been a competitive player right from the start. She has held the position of varsity catcher since 8th grade and has consistently been the team's best hitter throughout the course of her career. She has a career .440 average with 70 hits in 159 at bats; 62 RBIs; 53 runs scored; 20 doubles; 4 triples; and 12 home runs. On top of these already impressive stats, she is an outstanding defensive catcher throwing out 26 of 46 stolen base attempts by the other team.

Over the course of her time at Mayfield, Alexis has won numerous awards including Rookie of the Year and has been the team's MVP the last two seasons. Additionally, she has been a section 2 All-Star the past two seasons.

Congratulations to Alexis on an amazing high school softball career. The Mayfield Athletic Department and entire school community is proud to call her a Panther and wishes her success in her future endeavors. 💙💛💙

The newly renovated floor in the Rovito Gymnasium is NOW OPEN! We are thrilled to welcome students back for both physical education class and athletic games starting today. In an amazing coincidence, it was 42 years ago TO THE DAY that members of the Mayfield school community celebrated the official opening of the then brand new gymnasium.

Join us at the Jr/Sr High School this Thursday, Dec. 7th at 6:30pm (between the JV and Varsity girls basketball games) for an official GRAND OPENING of this beautiful new floor and help us celebrate the many more years it will serve our students. 💙💛💙
