New book for sale!
I am pleased to announce the my new sefer, Ethics of Our Fighters: A Jewish View on War and Morality, is now available for sale on Koren's US website.

Eighty days into this terrible war, I am hopeful that it will help give us the moral fortitude to continue fighting and the tools to explain - to ourselves and to others - why our killing is justified.

The website also includes a PDF of the table of contents.

(I will update once it is available on the Israeli site.)

On Monday night, we had our first all-women's event. We began with a delicious dinner. Then, Rabbi Brody led a discussion about how Jewish morality should influence public policy.

We had the best time with this amazing group!

Our all-men's event is Motzei Shabbat, November 13th. We can't wait to see you there!

Our Story

The first seminar will begin at the end of October with subsequent meetings held twice-a-month until the end of May. The format of each seminar varies, including debates, panel discussions, and lectures. Regular sessions take place on Friday mornings at Beit Avi Chai in central Jerusalem between 9 AM – 1:00 PM to avoid conflicting with program schedules. Three weekend retreats will take place over the course of the year. When necessary, transportation is provided to prevent conflicts with program schedules. A delicious brunch will be served at each meeting. Students must commit to constant attendance, prepare one or two readings before each seminar, and actively participate in discussions.
