Hit just a small preverbial speed bump...no issue, just conflict in schedules. Should have date and location buttoned up this week...if all goes well!

Anyone wanting to help...feel free to let me know by responding to any of these posts. We need all the assistance we can get! Won't be a ton of meetings...or committees...just folks pitching in towards a common goal.

We are looking at a BBQ and bonfire evening! I believe we have our BBQ cooks...(Karl Kiesow and Tony Torres) as well as a few other folks have already said they will help with anything. Let's not forget we'll need help cleaning up too!!

Stay tuned...

;-)

Okiedokie... meeting this morning to confirm a date and location for the 82 class reunion! Just have to ask our parents first...lol. With a firm date, we'll be able to start moving forward. Stay tuned!

12/06/2017

We are closing in on a venue for the reunion...and it's looking like a bon fire and BBQ kinda night in the fall. Ricki D. is digitizing our senior year book and we would love to have some "after" pictures for the slideshow to put side by side with your senior pictures from 82! As soon as we have specifics, we will let you know so plans can be made!

My post disappeared...lol. Trying again...
Yuba City High School Class of 82 will be holding it's 35 year reunion later this year. Due to some feedback from folks that have been unable to attend any of the reunions in the summer, we are planning on a fall event. We will be using this page to communicate, please help get the word out! The shortcut is . As soon as we have specifics, exact date, time and location...we will post it. We understand no one can commit without the date, but if you are "wanting" to come, please provide your contact information in a private message. It will not be shared without your permission. Just want to start a head count as soon as possible. Again, we want to keep the cost down and somthing simple like BBQ/barn dance but that may not be possible. Also, any other folks from classes that use to spend time with us and are interested in attending, please let us know...we would love to see you!

Anyone know how to reach our 4 female foreign exchange students? Katia Justianiano from Santa Cruiz, Bolivia; Kirsten Haake from Bremen, West Germany; Shona Grant from Australia, and the 18 yr old from Sandnes Norway that did not put her name in the year book...lol. I have a good address for Gerard. I'd like to at least send an invite...

"Trying" to move things along for the class of 1982's upcoming reunion. Just created this page in hopes of centralizing our communication. The shortcut is ...and we are in the process of identifying locations. After speaking to a number of folks, we have 2 objectives: 1) move the timing to the fall so that people that have not been able to attend due to timing can now do so, and 2) make the event as affordable as possible. With that said, we are looking at not only local establishments, but also asking for any suggestions as to a possible location for a barn dance and BBQ. Willing to entertain all suggestions. Any location we would be happy to take out a "1 day" insurance policy on to cover any unforeseen issues that may or may not arise. Keep you posted!
