Our story
The American Pharmacists Association, founded in 1852, is the first-established professional society of pharmacists within the United States. It is now the largest pharmacy association in the United States, with more than 62,000 members.
The mission of the APhA Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) is to be the collective voice of student pharmacists, to provide opportunities for professional growth, to improve patient care, and to envision and advance the future of pharmacy. Joining this organization will provide students with a multitude of opportunities to get involved both at a local and national level.
Our five APhA-ASP Outreach organizations (Generation Rx, Operation Diabetes, Operation Heart, Operation Immunization, and OTC Medication Safety) allow students to provide health services in the Seattle community.
