Originating in 1865 when Union soldiers landed in Galveston, slaves discovered that they had been freed by executive order.

All HCC Libraries will be closed for Juneteenth - June 19th.

Libraries check out all sorts of things, and the HCC Central library has a sewing machine that you can use in the library.
