Our chapter held our annual Destination IU event Monday night! We had so much fun visiting with students and families. A huge thank you to Ullery’s Ice Cream for providing us with such a fun space so we could celebrate these students heading to B-town this fall!

Voting is now open for the 2019 Trustee Election!

IU’s nine trustees make major university
decisions. These decisions — think tuition costs, hiring the president, and campus construction projects —
shape the future of your alma mater.

IU grads, meet the candidates and cast your vote:

Today we hosted our annual IU Day luncheon in conjunction with Richmond Noon Kiwanis. The program featured two IU Jacobs School of Music Faculty - Jermey Allen and Sarah Wroth, and was held on the IU East campus.

The program was spectacular, we learned a lot about the history of the IU Jacobs School of Music, learned/practiced some ballet moves, and ended the lunch in true IU style singing “Hail to Old IU.”

Ps. Video of the Kiwanis members practicing their ballet moves will be given to person who donates the largest amount to the East Central Indiana Chapter Scholarship fund.

Theodor Seuss Geisel was an American children’s author, political cartoonist, poet, animator, screenwriter, filmmaker, and artist, best known for his work writing and illustrating more than 60 books under the pen name Doctor Seuss. His work includes many of the most popular children’s books of all time, selling over 600 million copies and being translated into more than 20 languages by the time of his death. In honor of his Birthday we celebrate National Read Across America Day by reading to local students and handing out books.
