Speakers is organising an 'Effective Listening' Workshop next Tuesday 26th May at their usual venue, The Devereux Pub at 6.45pm.

We spend the majority of our waking hours communicating and almost half of that time is spent listening. This aspect of communication determines our success in personal & business relationships as well as within our communities. Ineffective listening can lead to poor communication, personality clashes, poor morale or loss of business. However we can improve our listening habits by becoming more aware of both our own and other people’s preferred communication styles.

In this workshop, Jay Surti (incoming Area 34 Director 2015/16) will guide us through a fun and interactive session covering useful techniques that will help you enhance your listening skills!

All are welcome.
