The US is still learning how to teach kids about science The NGSS get criticized for not enough science; blocked for the science they have.
Just a reminder that we WILL have a Maker Night tonight at CCBC's LRC 9115. We will be learning EASEL, which is a CAD program in preparation to begin our fourth project using our new desktop CNC machine.
We WILL have a maker night session this Tuesday in Room 9115 at CCBC (the same room we were in for the windmills project). We will be starting our CNC project and learning some CAD.............

On this 15th day of we present, Henrietta Lacks, the unwitting source of cells to create the first known human immortal cell line--now known as the HeLa cell line. Her family fought successfully to have a say in how the cells will be used for scientific research.

Weather permitting, our second Maker Night at the Carnegie Library of Beaver Falls will take place tomorrow night at 6:30pm. We will continue our project on e-textiles and wearable electronics!
