Kristi and Linda B. had the privilege of presenting William Franco, George Leonard, Richard McClaren, and Dennis Rodriquez their Quilts of Valor today.
Grace had the great honor of awarding a Quilt of Valor today to 99 years young Navy veteran Edward K. He served as a Navy pilot and told us stories about learning to fly from his tough women pilot instructors. He was thanked for his service to our country and welcomed home.
Grace had the honor of awarding Quilts of Valor today to four veterans on behalf of Quilt Guild by the Sea. Kermain K. served in the Army in Iraq. Jesus M. served in the Army in Haiti, the Sinai Penninsula, and Egypt. Alexis R. served in the Navy on the Harry S. Truman Aircraft Carrier in Saudi Arabia, Greece, Gulf Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Slovenia, and Dubai. Luis O. ( not pictured) served in the Army in Kuwait and Iraq. They were thanked for their service to our country and our community and welcomed home.
Elizabeth Roberts dropped off these isolette covers Saturday at North Broward to Nancy Martenez and Elizabeth? Both NICU nurses who were thrilled to get them.

Pinecrest Rehab hospital which is part of Delray Medical hospital nominated our guild for a news story about our Comfort Quilt Program.
The Rehab has embraced our program and feels that not only are the patients so happy to receive a quilt but it brightens their spirits in a way to keep them motivated to get better.
That says it all ! That’s why we do this.

Grace had the honor of awarding Quilts of Valor today to two veterans on behalf of Quilt Guild by the Sea during a Veterans Appreciation Luncheon. Robert E. served in numerous deployments while in the U.S. Army for a total of 33 years. Marco C. also served in the U.S. Army during Iraqi Freedom. They were thanked for their service to our country and our community and welcomed home.
Grace had the honor of awarding a Quilt of Valor to Kenneth O. on behalf of Quilt Guild by the Sea today during a cake cutting celebration of the U.S. Marines Corps 248th birthday. He served in the U.S. Marines for a total of 32 years during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and in Bosnia, Kosovo, Haiti, and Africa. He was thanked for his service to our country and our community and welcomed home.
Linda had the privilege of presenting Edward, Air Force and Thomas, Army their Quilts of Valor at Veterans Memorial Park today. Both veterans were joined by several family members and friends.
