Second 8 weeks classes are beginning on March 18! Check out this cool, English 206, Intro to Literature class that's being offered. The course covers, fiction, poetry, and drama. That means students will get to read short stories, poems, and plays. The class is virtual, so Ivy Tech students can attend from home through zoom. Sign up now!


We have some awesome student life groups at Ivy Tech. One of them is Psychology Club! Last week Psychology Club offered a free yoga class for students, staff and faculty. We met in the library on 2/8 at the Ivy Tech Michigan City site. We hired a wonderful yoga instructor and had a great class together. We had fun at the trunk-or-treat yesterday at the Ivy Tech Michigan City site. Thank you to all who participated and decorated some awesome trunk displays. Last week's author presentation on Alexander's Run was fun!


This Thursday, January 26, Ivy Tech will host local author Sean Phillips from 4:00 pm-5:00 pm CST at the Ivy Tech Michigan City Site (3714 Franklin St.) in the library (2nd floor).

Sean will be discussing dystopian fiction and sharing information about his new book Alexander's Run, a story of a young hemophiliac boy who is trying to survive in a dystopian society that wants him dead for his genetic abnormality.
