Hello! Welcome to UWinnipeg’s Anthropology Student’s Association!
We are a small club as of now, and would love to get all the new members we can get! You don’t need to major or minor in anthropology, you just need to take an interest in it! If you aren’t sure, feel free to pop in for a few minutes to come and check it out! We’d love to get to know you!
In our meeting last Monday, we discussed some possible activities we could do as a group this term, and are very open to hear from you guys as well!
Our Zoom meeting ID is 869 113 3237, and the password is 522789. We are unable to meet in a classroom as of now, but are working on finding a way to do so with those that are comfortable.
We as a group look forward to getting to know some of you soon at our next meeting!

The Canadian Archaeological Association is hosting their annual conference virtually this year from May 5-8! They are looking for volunteers to help the conference run smoothly.
They are specifically seeking volunteers to help upload the pre-recorded presentations to the CAA YouTube channel in preparation for the conference. During the conference itself they are also seeking volunteers to help staff the Virtual Info Desk and provide Zoom Room assistance during sessions. No experience required – training will be provided!
If you are interested in volunteering for this year’s conference please send an email to [email protected] by April 16th, 2021 to let them know which type of shifts you are interested in and any scheduling restrictions you have.
You can also dm , who is co-chair of the CAA Student Committee, if you have any questions about the conference or volunteering!
