Gloria Wanta Hawkes '73 is being transferred to HUP today. Please send prayers and good wishes to our Ellis sister for a full and quick recovery.
This would have been week two of hockey camp at Ellis. Were you there. So much fun in the sun. I loved staying with Alison, Karen and Janet and their families. They were all so welcoming. Betsie '67
Ellis sisters! Share your Halloween memories from your days at Ellis!
I had lunch with Susan Mcgurk today. We met on the campus of BU (my alma mater), where she and her husband are now employed. No, they haven't left Dartmouth or NH...they divide their time between their Boston apartment and their NH house. I'm hoping we make time to get together every so often. It was a nice lunch and Susan looks great, as always. Iris '74
Hey, Ellis sisters! Who here is a "Mad Men" fan? There are a whole lot of reasons I love the show, but one of the big ones is that I get to see the Sixties play out with amazing accuracy (as well as an earlier version of an industry I know quite well from working in it for close to 15 years...the ad agency biz). Most of us are probably close to one of the Draper kids in age; I was born in 1957. I don't remember a lot about real life the first few seasons of the show, but the events covered from the Kennedy assassination onward are big memories for me. And now, the show is in mid-1966...a period I remember quite well (though still a few years before my Ellis years began...). If you don't watch the show, then for the memories if nothing else, you should tune in! Iris '74
Rabbit......Happy New Year Everyone. 2012 is going to be a good one:) LB 67

Just an FYI...Rosie O'Donnell's son, Parker, is now a plebe at VFMA. liz

REPOST********Is anyone interested in planning and organizing the next whole school reunion? It's time for Deb, Doe, Lynda, Dolores and Holly to pass the torch so that they can attend as guests. If you have event planning skills and are interested in handling 2015 let me know! A suggestion was made that it be held on campus at one of the Ellis Preserve Hotels that should be completed in time....Liz

I am posting photos that Connie Clayton Walker '67 shot while on campus during our reunion weekend. There are more to follow. Some are from the Historical Society tour...One that brought back many memories is the 1964 shot of the Commons prior to being set for a meal! Liz
Who remembers how excited we were on that half day of school, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving? My kids have always had that entire Wednesday off!
