What a joy for me to bring my craft of making Raku pottery to my hometown of King City, Missouri. I feel like the positive and imaginative attitude that the Millers have shown should be supported and that more people ought to get behind what they are doing there. Yes, King City has gone through some tough years, but it can, like the Phoenix, rise out of the Rust and come alive again in a whole new way!

My mantra

sorry about all these posts they were meant for my own page not this page. i am not tech savvy the algorithms changed and i am stranded here as opposed to being on my own page.

Found this is one of my old early 60s scrapbooks and thought you all might enjoy it. Steve Liggett

Road Trip anyone?

I'm building an altar in honor of Wendell Swenson and although we were friends, I don't know things like his favorite foods, drinks, jokes, songs, images and would like to place these things on his altar. If you know or would like to contribute anything to remember Wendell so if he would come back and look at his altar and say "Hey, they remembered me", I would appreciate you sending them to me. My email address is [email protected] It's for El Dia de Los Mu***os here in Tulsa. Hope you all are well. Thanks

Mitch Jameson came up to the Liggett Cemetery to help me erect the sign over the gate and paint the fence RED! Many thanks to Mitch and Sarah McGinley for their help. We missed Wendell and thought and talked about him several times during this work session.

I'm going back up to Gene Stohl's farm where the Liggett Cemetery is in order to paint the fence that Wendell, Mitch and Sarah and I put up last year. And I plan to install a sign I had made here in Tulsa over the gate that simply says "LIGGETT CEMETERY". I could use some help if anybody wants to have a "REUNION AT THE GRAVEYARD"!!! Message me on FB and I'll let you know when we'll be there.

Jack Burgess, classmates. I think Nannette Wolford told us this was where he was working most recently. Melissa.
