This is a Per Diem 1099 opportunity perfect for a clinician who values flexibility and is excited to make a difference in the AAC community. Whether you’re seeking additional hours or looking for a role that fits into your unique schedule, this could be the perfect match!

Our services are heavily provided in various school districts across NJ. Therefore, flexibility during school hours is required, and you must be open to driving to different locations in your consultative role! 🚗

📋 What we’re looking for:
✔️ Strong AAC evaluation skills
✔️ Ability to train professional staff or parents on AAC implementation
✔️ Experience with various AAC apps
✔️ A passion for empowering communication

AAC Awareness Month is coming to an end, but we should ALWAYS be supporting access to multimodal approaches to communication!!

Made this resource today for a classroom who has some new staff that are forgetting to encourage their students to bring their device with them everywhere they go! Sound familiar?! Don’t worry! It happens!

Here is a little visual that we created to tape onto students’ desks as a visual reminder to professional staff to ensure our students’ devices are always present and accessible!

Here some facts about AAC that you may not know:
1) AAC does not hinder speech development, and can actually support it. It can also build literacy and language skills.
2) There are no cognitive requirements for using AAC--people of many ages and abilites can use AAC.
3) AAC can be high or low tech, and low tech is not a prerequisite to high tech options like speech devices.

👋🏻 Hi! I’m Gabriella Wendling, and AAC & Me is my baby! I started this small private practice in January of this year, and have been learning so much along the way! I am incredibly passionate about AAC, and helping provide a voice to all individuals! One of my missions is to educate those on all the wonders of AAC, while sharing this information in a fun, motivating, and lighthearted way 😊

✨AAC & Me provides augmentative and alternative communication evaluations and services across NJ and PA! We are always excited to meet new people, and even more so, to assist in empowering communicators along their AAC journey!
