Today is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and NHS would like to formally recognize and appreciate our own SRO, Officer Jacob Garver.

Officer Garver has spent the last 12 years as a law enforcement officer, and this is his first official full year as a SRO. He really enjoys showing students the positive side of law enforcement, as most people see law enforcement during intense situations. He really enjoys hanging out with students and participating in classes and finding other ways to show them officers are people just like them.

Thank you Officer Garver! You are a huge part of the culture of this building!

NHS Staff and Students,

We would like to specially thank our custodial staff for all their hard work in ensuring that we will be able to come back tomorrow! This has taken a tremendous amount of work. Thank you!

As we return to school tomorrow please note the following:

1. Please allow extra time for travel and parking. Understand that the roads and parking lots may still have ice and snow on them. This could reduce the parking spots. Take your time and be safe when arriving and moving between the buildings. Staff, if you park in the Brooks lot please know that area has not been made as clear yet as the front.

2. Dress warmly! Moving between the buildings will be cold, and we encourage you to be prepared.

3. Juniors and Seniors with open lunch we want you to consider staying on campus tomorrow to avoid the developing driving conditions.

4. Please be patient in the mornings as drop off might be slow. We anticipate things to refreeze overnight, but our crews will be here early to get things ready.

08/01/2025

We will be able to have practices today. Times and locations are outlined below. Students coming to practices at NHS should enter through the Senior Doors or Willis Gym Doors. The Lower Gym Entrance is still closed due to the snow and ice!
