விருத்தாச்சலம், செப்டம்பர் 25, தென்னிந்திய அளவில் நடைபெற்ற இசை நிகழ்ச்சியில் விருத்தாச்சலம் ஜெயப்பிரியா வித்யாலயா சீனியர் செகண்டரி பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு வெற்றி பெற்று பள்ளிக்குப் பெருமை சேர்த்துள்ளனர்.
செப்டம்பர் 24, சென்னை பெரம்பூரில் வித்யபாலா பள்ளியில், 'ஃபர்டு டாஸ் ஆப் ஸ்கூல் மியூசிக்' நடத்திய தென்னிந்திய அளவிலான ' பேண்ட் இட்' இசைப்போட்டி நடைபெற்றது. இதில், தென் இந்திய அளவில் அனைத்து பள்ளிகளும் பங்கு கொண்டன. இதில் விருத்தாச்சலம் ஜெயப்பிரியா வித்யாலயா சீனியர் செகண்டரி பள்ளி மாணவர்களும் கலந்து கொண்டு, சிறப்பாக தமது இசை திறனை, கீபோர்டு, கிட்டார், டிரம்ஸ் மற்றும் வாய்ப்பாட்டு என அனைத்திலும் சிறப்பாக வெளிப்படுத்தி, தென் இந்திய அளவில் மூன்றாம் இடத்தைத் தட்டி சென்றனர்.
