As the cadets complete the third phase of their Cadet Attachment Program, they worked together to apply the principles of the ICS framework. Personnel from multiple stations and departments, such as Quezon City Police Station, Rizal City Police Station, Luna City Police Station, Aguinaldo City Police Station, Bonifacio City Police Station, Malvar City Jail, and Gabriela Fire Station, participated in this endeavor. Their goal was to effectively utilize the ICS and enhance their ability to collaborate efficiently in emergency situations.

Participating in this joint training as a cadet has been an eye-opening experience. It's given us a peek into how complex emergency management can be and why it's crucial for different agencies to work together. Working with professionals from different backgrounds has shown us the power of unity and collaboration when dealing with crises. It's also made us feel more responsible for serving and protecting our community, which motivates us to always act with professionalism and dedication in our future roles.

As the program wraps up, we cadets feel more confident and prepared to handle emergencies. We now understand just how important teamwork and preparedness are in saving lives and property during crises. This training has transformed us into resilient responders, ready to make a positive impact in our communities.

This initiative was spearheaded by PLT SEAN GARCIA, Chief, PCAD, and PEMS Conan Gadayan, FJGAD, PNCO. This effort was in line with the Administration's Campaign Plan Bagong Pilipinas, which mirrors the Philippine National Police's comprehensive strategy.

The Bagong Pilipinas initiative, under the leadership of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., serves as a unifying framework for national development. It emphasizes the importance of collective action and shared values in driving the country towards prosperity and progress. As cadets, understanding the principles and goals of Bagong Pilipinas instills a sense of duty and responsibility to contribute to the nation's growth and development.

As cadets, being part of community engagement initiatives like seminars and flyer distribution is not just a duty but also an opportunity for personal and professional growth. It reinforces the importance of building bridges between law enforcement and the community, ultimately contributing to safer and more prosperous societies.

Team Bonifacio CPS recently executed a thorough planned buy-bust operation, culminating in the arrest of Steve Vince Remot alias "Chukchak." The information provided by the informant guided the authorities to Mabini Street near the Kinetics Building in Silang Cavite, where they caught Remot with methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu.

This successful operation emphasizes the importance of buy-bust operations in combating the proliferation of illegal drugs within communities. These operations are vital for law enforcement to break up drug networks, catch important individuals, and stop harmful substances from being distributed.

As a cadet, reflecting on the complexities of a buy-bust operation provides valuable insight into the challenges and responsibilities inherent in law enforcement. It underscores the necessity of thorough planning, effective coordination, and adherence to legal procedures to ensure the success of such operations while upholding the principles of justice and fairness.

On the evening of March 16, 2024, the team at Bonifacio CPS, led by PLT JEREMY VALENS B ESTEBAN, executed a Hasty Checkpoint operation outside the Bonifacio City Police Station, NCBN 3, supervised by PLTCOL JOSE C COBALLES. This sudden action was meant to keep our community safe and orderly.

The Hasty Checkpoint had two main goals: first, to prevent any potential trouble near the police station, showing that the police are vigilant and ready to act fast if needed. Second, it aimed to reassure people that the police are around, making them feel safer and deterring criminals from doing anything wrong.

As cadets, being part of this quick operation taught us a lot about how things work in real life. It showed us how important it is to be able to adjust to situations quickly and make decisions fast to keep everyone safe. It also reminded us of our duty to serve and protect our community, knowing that even small actions can make a big difference in keeping people safe and secure.

Moving into the third phase of our Cadet Attachment Program, which we refer to as the Case Based Scenario, marked a significant change for us as cadets. We transitioned from relying on textbooks and lectures to engaging in hands-on experiences, mirroring the real-life obstacles we will encounter as future law enforcers. Given the task of setting up the Bonifacio City Police Station , our objective was clear: create a fully operational police facility.
Working with our fellow cadets, we used all our skills and knowledge to establish our own police station. This involved various aspects, including planning the layout of the station, allocating roles and responsibilities among team members, and ensuring the station is equipped with the necessary resources and infrastructure to support law enforcement operations.
From organizing administrative functions to setting up operational procedures and community engagement initiatives, we have worked hard in ensuring that the police station is ready to serve and protect.

On February 29, 2024, PLTCOL MILANY E MARTIREZ, the Chief of Police of Calamba Component City Police Station, along with key officers and PNPA Cadets, attended the Squad Weekly Interactive Meeting (SWIM). This meeting was led by Pastor Rev. Dr. Ernie B. Cerezo, who focused on a Bible verse from Psalm 78:70-72. The verse highlighted how David was chosen by God to lead His people with integrity and skillfulness. The message emphasized the importance of having a strong foundation of faith in public service. Faith can provide individuals with strength, compassion, and a clear sense of purpose as they work towards serving others effectively. It's crucial for everyone, especially those in public service, to remember the value of faith in guiding their actions and decisions.

As a cadet, this message reinforced the significance of establishing a strong foundation of faith in my journey towards becoming a future leader in public service. I recognized the invaluable role that faith can play in providing strength, compassion, and guidance as I strive to serve others with integrity and skillfulness. This reflection instilled in me a renewed sense of purpose and conviction in my commitment to uphold these values throughout my career as a cadet and beyond.

In commemoration of the 38th EDSA People Power Anniversary, the Calamba CCPS, led by PLTCOL MILANY E MARTIREZ, COP, collaborated with the supportive LGU of Calamba City spearheaded by the City Mayor, Hon. Roseller H Rizal and various government agencies to organize the Bagong Pilipinas sa Barangay Caravan at Sitio Kabote, Barangay Real, Calamba City, Laguna. The event kicked off with a Clean-up Drive, uniting personnel from Calamba CCPS, LGU, PNPA Cadets, Barangay Officials, and local volunteers in fostering a cleaner and healthier environment.

The program also included insightful lectures on Drug Awareness as part of the BIDA Program, delivered by PMSg Glenn Pajanustan and discussions on NTF ELCAC EO 70 (Anti-Terrorism) led by Pat Angelica Rica Teng of RPCADU4A. Additionally, the caravan provided essential services to the community, including food distribution, hygiene kits, and basic medical and grooming services, benefiting over 300 families and 100 children from Sitio Kabote.

Participating in the Bagong Pilipinas sa Barangay Caravan was a meaningful experience. It showed me the importance of collaboration and community engagement in addressing societal issues. Witnessing the impact of providing essential services to families in need reinforced my commitment to serving and protecting communities as a future law enforcer. Overall, it was a reminder of the transformative power of collective action in creating positive change.

IN PHOTOS: After the morning accounting and the PICE and I-SMILE session, PCMS Luyun from the PNP-Highway Patrol Group (HPG) under the supervision of PLTCOL MILANY E MARTIREZ, COP, Calamba CCPS, provided valuable insights on identifying initial violations by drivers and detecting fake driver's licenses and plate numbers. He shared practical tips and techniques for recognizing common infractions on the road and emphasized the importance of thorough inspection to combat the use of counterfeit documents.

As a cadet, participating in this activity conducted by the PNP-HPG was very informative. It highlighted the critical role of police officers in ensuring road safety and maintaining order. Learning about identifying initial violations and detecting fake documents not only enhances our understanding of law enforcement practices but also underscores the importance of vigilance and attention to detail in our future roles as police officers. This experience reinforced the significance of continuous training and preparedness to effectively address various challenges in ensuring public safety on the roads.
