- - - Mrs. Jenni Cox, Pre-K at Parsons Elementary - - -
Decatur County Schools is excited to welcome Mrs. Jenni Cox to our Decatur County School System family! Mrs. Cox joins us as a Pre-K teacher at Parsons Elementary.
Mrs. Cox brings with her 17 years of rich experience in education, having taught students from preschool through 5th grade. She has had the honor of opening a charter school, serving as a teacher's aide, leading an emotional support classroom, and teaching science and social studies.
Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Cox is a dedicated mother to 5 amazing cats, whom she rescued as 3-day-old kittens. Her husband, Jay, works at Riverside High, making education a family affair.
Mrs. Cox's philosophy centers on “ensuring that each child she encounters feels truly loved, valued, and special in their own unique way.” We are excited to see the positive impact she will have on our students and the community. Welcome, Mrs. Cox, to Decatur County Schools! We can't wait to start a fantastic new school year together!
