Said event was followed by the oath-taking of new leaders, which was initiated and witnessed by Vice-Mayor Jaypee Yep David.

The 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙝 π𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 successfully conducted the Team Competition: Math Quest for the 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐇𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐋 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 with a theme “𝑬𝒎𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝑳𝒊𝑪𝒐𝒎𝑪𝒐’𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒔” last August 31,2023 in Ligao City Gymnasium.

The activity was successfully managed by the club, fulfilling challenges and excitement to the participants. Said activity evaluated the participants’ intelligence in Mathematics and tested their teamwork as they finished task competently.

PART 1| “𝗗𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗔 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻”

During the 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐇𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐋 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑, the Dedication Booth was brought together by the 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙝 π𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 last August 30-31, 2023 in Ligao City Gymnasium, Ligao City. First-year students eagerly engaged in the activity, expressing their aspirations and thought. Thus, said activity created a lasting memory to the participants filled with inspiration and fun.

COOPERATIVE AND BUSINESS MONTH CELEBRATION 2022 : LiComCo Cooperative and Business Month Celebration with the theme “Breaking Boundaries, Defying Limits”

STATINIK QUIZ

As part of LiComCo Cooperative and Business Month Celebration 2022, we Math πrates Club are encouraging all BSED Major in Mathematics and AB Economics students of Ligao Community College to join the Statinik Face to Face Quiz Bee. Statinik Quiz will be at Room 2-02 on September 27,2022 from 8:00 am to 10 am.

Here are the guidelines for this activity:

STATINIK (Quiz Bee)
Guidelines:
a. All participants must be a BSED Math and AB Economics students of Ligao Community College.
b. Each block must have 3 players to represent their class.
c. The participants must register to the google forms attached below. The deadline of registration is September 25 , 2022 until 11 PM.

Game Mechanics
a. The questions in the game are divided into 3 categories which are easy, average and difficult. Pointing system varies according to the category and answering questions in each category has time limit shown below:
Category Time Limit Score
Easy 15 seconds 1 point
Average 30 seconds 3 points
Difficult 1 minute 5 points
b. The facilitators will give them paper/board they will use on the game. They need to write their Course/Year/Major on the upper right side of the paper or board.
c. The game master will read the questions twice. On his/her signal the participants must write their answer on the paper/illustration board provided by the facilitators.
d. Once the time is up everyone will be requested to raise their paper/board. Once all the paper/board is up the game master will reveal the correct answer.
e. The participants need to wait for the signal of the game master to put down their paper/board.
f. The block who garnered the highest score will be declared as winner.
g. If it happens that there will be a tie, the blocks involved will answer a tie breaker question to know who will be declared as winner.

Math πrates conducted four activity this year's FRESHTIVAL 2022 - A welcome party to LiComCo freshmen with the theme "A Pursuit to Leap Back in Servant Leadership and Camaraderie" last August 31, 2022.

The activities were successfully done and managed by the club, these include Math race, Calculate Funyey Relay, Amazing Race and PuzzleNik that were filled with challenges and excitements. These activities tests the participants' wit in mathematics. These also challenged their teamwork to finish each game successfully.

As Ligao National High School prepares the institution for the opening of Academic Year 2022-2023 through the Brigada Eskwela the Math Department launched Brigada Pagbilang last August 16, 2022. The activity aims to help the students familiarize themselves with the basic concepts in mathematics. In line with this Dr. Vilma Nidua requested assistance from the Math π-rates organization in Ligao Community College. The volunteers from the organization prepared instructional materials that they used in teaching the students, they also rendered service by means of cleaning and helping in the transfer of teaching and learning materials to other rooms. The volunteers were guided by the Math teachers in the institution.
The launch of the activity ended on August 18, 2022.
