1. Grade 8 &9 were writing class tests not examinations and are done. They must come back to school on 01 October 2024 when schools reopen.
2. Grade 10,11 &12 are writing examinations and will finish on 16 & 17 September 2024 respectively.
3. Reports will be issued when schools reopen and you will be informed of the date.
4. When we reopen schools, Grade 12 will officially start with evening revision classes from.18h00 (6pm) to 20h00 (8pm)
5. Mathematics Literacy evening revision classes today 5 September 2024 will continue from 18h00 (6pm) to 20h00(8pm). Thanking in advance some community members led by Mr Mzukisi Siphunzi(Nkwera) who volunteered today to ensure our safety during this time and to assist in fetching learners and accompany them home since it will be late in the evening . Indeed schools belong to the communities 🙏 PARENTS MUST ALSO MAKE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS FOR THEIR KIDS.
6. Grade 12 Spring classes begin from 23 September to 27 September 2024
7. 2025 Admissions will close on 27 September 2024. Application forms must be returned to school. NO GRADE 11 &12 ADMISSIONS

All parents who wish to apply for their children for 2025 must note that admissions were opened in April and will close 30 September 2024. Application forms are still available in school.

Please return the forms as soon as possible. Applications are open for Grade 8 to Grade 10. No new admissions in Grade 11 and Grade 12

Attention Parents!!!

Kindly note that our school' s water metre has been changed to prepaid by Harry Gwala District Municipality. We have to buy water as a school before using it. We need to save water and note that we will fill buckets of water in classrooms and refill them at breaktime. It is also advisable that learners provide themselves with a bottle of water to school

IT IS NOT TRUE THAT WE ARE SELLING WATER AT R5 A BOTTLE TO LEARNERS AS RUMOURS ARE SPREAD.

Please note that there is a change in our time-table. The Department instructed us that Grade 9s must write a common paper for Maths set outside our school. Grade 9 Maths paper will now be written on 7 June 2024. This we received late on Thursday and we had no school on Friday.

GRADE 8 WILL WRITE MATHS TOMORROW 3 JUNE 2024. No changes in Grade 8. Amended timetable will be issued to Grade 9s on Tuesday when they write EMS (Paper 1) & IsiXhosa.

Please ensure they are at school at all the dates appearing in the time-table and that they must only come to school on dates and times of writing. Please arrange with their transports

Attention Parents!!!

This serves to clarify all parents and learners on the circular from the Department of Education KZN advising schools who are used as voting stations to close from 27 May- 31 May 2024.

Our school is used by IEC as a voting station. However, we will not close school as we are in a very critical time of the term. 27 to 30 May was planned for revision week for all grades.

Therefore, we will not close school for that reason and June Examinations are starting from 3 June 2024 (all grades)

Kindly note that we are not defying nor undermining the advice but pressured by the upcoming examinations.

We will dermacate the area to be used by IEC so that they run elections smoothly without any interruptions.

Our school has been identified to pilot for General Examination Certificate (Grade 9 certificate)by Department of Education- National. In November our Grade 9 learners will be writing external papers.

The school has identified Mathematics & EMS as the subjects that are not performed well in Grade 9 as per Term 1 analysis. Then the school planned for Saturday classes in Grade 9 as follows:
