"Being a first-generation student means being a pioneer in my own education. All throughout school, I never was able to receive additional help for my work as my parents were not familiar with advanced topics.

Being a first-generation student has allowed me to become more independent and to learn how to solve my own problems. I have definitely become a stronger person because of my first-generation identity." .zhu 💗
