Some pics from the state shoot.
Great job Chisholm High School and Middle School Trap Teams yesterday. The high school team and middle school team qualified for the state shoot for the 11th consecutive year which is the entire length of the Oklahoma Wildlife Department’s Shooting Sports Education Program. The high school team took fourth place being narrowly defeated in the semifinals by two targets. Wade Ewbank qualified for the individual competition with a 24 at regionals and followed that up with a 24 yesterday which secured a 3rd place finish in the state individual competition. The middle school lost their first round match at state but I am very proud of their efforts as many of them began shooting trap about three months ago. Also, Symphony Koons qualified for the individual competition with a 4th place finish at Regionals and she followed that up with an 8th place finish in the overall individual female competition state. Congratulations everyone and great job. It was a great year. Coach Tilley
Middle shoots on field 11 which is east of the clubhouse at 9 AM. High school shoots on field 5 which is close to where we shot regionals at 10 AM. Be at the field about 10 minutes early.
A few details for Wednesday. The middle school could shoot up to 3 rounds on Wednesday. Their first round is at 9AM. If MS wins they shoot at 11:00 AM if we lose we are done. The high school team could shoot up to 4 rounds. We shoot our 1st round at 10 AM. If we win we shoot at 11:00 AM. Drew and Ashley Ewbank will be cooking lunch for kids and parents. Hamburgers, chips and drinks. Probably a few cookies as well. Bring lawn chairs, weather looks to be pretty good.

GREAT NEWS: I have been informed that there was a calculation error yesterday regarding placement for the high school team at Regionals. We actually had the highest score and were the 1st place team for regionals. Just wanted to let everyone know. It is not corrected on the Facebook post yet but will be at some point.
HS team placed 2nd by one target. Woodward was 1st. Wade Ewbank was 7th and Peyton Kehnemund was 10th individually. MS placed 3rd as a team and Symphony Koons was 4th individually.
