So lovely to be back at orchard forest school this week 😁 it even stayed dry 🤗 the children get so much out of these intergenerational sessions. They learn so much while playing and just having the best fun in nature.

When the weather is like this it has to be a muddy puddle walk and treasure hunt ❤️❤️❤️

Fabulous first day back with my new littlies, it was like they had been here for ages 😍 no tears from any of us 😂

After the sudden decision to quit my job I will be returning to childminding in Brixham from late Feb.
I can't wait to get some littlies again so local friends please spread the word 🙏 thank you.

So flattering today to have a lady come and ask if I was a minder and see if she could have my number, she had been watching us for some time having fun around cockington court and would of loved her little boy to come to someone like me and be as happy and loved as the children in my care were❤️
Sadly I can't help her currently but how lovely to be asked

I would like to expose a situation. If your children don't learn with children with special needs at school and have never been taught that not everyone is equal, maybe you should spend 10 minutes tonight to explain it to them, because although they don't currently live with these children at school, they will find them in their lives for sure.
In light of recent events regarding the exclusion of a child with autism from attending a school trip and a child with Down Syndrome being expelled from dance class because she couldn't keep up with it, I feel the need to share this. There are boys and girls that no one invites to birthday parties. There are special children who want to be part of a team but are not selected because it's more important to win than to include these children. Kids with special needs aren't weird, they just want what everyone wants: to be accepted!
Can I ask a question? Is there anyone willing to copy and paste this post on their wall without sharing it, like I did, for all the special children out there?
Please teach your children to be kind to these beautiful children! 🌈🌈🌈

Ofsted visits, rainy days
Learning lots as baby plays

coughs and colds, sickness bugs
Cheeky smiles, Lots of hugs
Screaming babies, terrible twos
Drawing, painting, mess with glues

Learning lots in the early years
texting parents to ease their fears
Years of closeness, they then move on
Just our memories now they're gone

We lovingly look back at lots of snaps
Of all the children that sat on our laps
Sometimes we watch them as they grow
but some we never see once they go😥

childminding's easy I hear from some
A day watching tv sat on your bum
I find it funny, if only they knew
The love and devotion and hard work we do!!

Lots of yummy fun today 😋

We had fun last week celebrating the Chinese New year of the tiger, we visited a beautiful garden where we danced to relaxing Chinese music and saw dragon dancing,
we tasted different foods and tried to eat with chopsticks (thank goodness for spoons or we would of gone hungry😂) we made dragons and tiger masks which was fun and finally learned about their history and culture by visiting the museum ❤️

So much for my little explorers to see and learn about❤️

After a lovely sunny walk it's all about the vets today😍 ,
We have been learning all about keeping animals and ourselves healthy through excersise and healthy eating
We learned all about how our bodies are made and found x-rays of different animals and bones which was great fun guessing what they were ,we had some very funny answers 🤣

Happy new year everyone , I am looking forward to more fun times with my littlies
Next week as i have missed them 😍

Lovely few weeks of Christmas fun with my littlies but now its time for a good rest and family time 😍
I will have vacancies in January if you hear of anyone needing care
