Project Sea Monkey

Project Sea Monkey

Project Sea Monkey is a developing program that studies coastal and island living long-tailed macaques in Thailand and Myanmar.

Our program investigates the tool-using behaviour of long-tailed macaques living in southern Thailand and Myanmar. We currently have study programs occurring in Thailand at Laem Son National Park in Ranong Province and Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, Prachuab Khiri Khan. We are also beginning to carry out surveys through the coastal areas of Ranong, Thailand, and also the Myeik (or Mergui) Archipe
