REMINDER: TOMORROW, Friday, February 14th, 2025, all SoWashCo students have a scheduled E-Learning day (students learning online from home - students WILL NOT report to school.) Assignments will be posted on Schoology BY 10AM.

*Our staff members will be participating in professional development opportunities on this date. E-Learning days offer benefits for our students that can complement traditional education methods. It provides flexibility, promotes independence, fosters digital literacy, and prepares students for a globally connected world.

Below are some important points regarding e-Learning for Lake Middle School:

✅ Students do NOT report to school on Friday, February 14th. They will be learning from home utilizing their chromebooks for the E-Learning Day.
✅ Students should make sure they have their Chromebook and charger at home with them on Friday, February 14th.
✅ Students must visit each of their teachers' Schoology Sites for information about the work they are being asked to complete in each of their classes. Students should review each of their classes (including both A and B day classes) on this asynchronous learning day for assigned work. All Lessons for each of your child's classes will be posted by 10:00 AM in Schoology on Friday, February 14th.
✅ All learning will be delivered asynchronously; meaning there are no virtual meetings or classes. Students can work at their own pace on this day.
✅ Attendance will be taken through an attendance question or submission of an assignment/form as indicated by the teacher for each of your child's classes.

🤒 If your child is sick or unable to complete the e-Learning plan, please report your child’s absence to the school by reporting the absence through infinite campus parent portal and/or calling our attendance line at 651-425-6464.

❓If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the front office and/or your child's teachers.

We understand students will have a wide variety of responsibilities at home during E-Learning days and that some may not have access to the internet. Staff members understand this and will be flexible with those situations. However, the expectation is that students will complete the work in a timely manner as developed between student and teachers.

Thank you for being a partner in supporting E-Learning! ✨ 💻 🙌🏼
