She joins fellow 2024 Rhodes grads Lucia Berkey, Riley Damiano, Piper Huddleston, Palmer Mihalevich, and Gwen Williams in earning this prestigious honor. 💫
At Rhodes, Caroline double-majored in economics and religious studies, participated in the Liberal Arts in Prison Program, and volunteered with refugee and language programs in Memphis. 👏💡

🎓📚 Rhodes senior Bailey Santos ('24), an Educational Studies major from Dallas, TX, presented her research “Bilingual Books to Promote Language and Biliteracy Learning” at the Literacy Research Association conference in Atlanta! 🗣️📖
Alongside her faculty advisor, Dr. Laura Beth Kelly, Bailey shared insights from a study on using bilingual books with 4th graders. Her goal? To become a bilingual teacher in dual language schools and continue advancing bilingual literacy research. 🌟

It’s looking a lot like the holidays at Rhodes College! As students wrap up the fall semester, many are acing their final exams while studying by the festive Barret Library Christmas tree. Bon Appétit helped spread holiday cheer with a cookies decorating study break, and the Rhodes College pep band filled the halls with joyful carols. Happy holidays, everyone!
Addison Leonard, class of 2026 and a Dallas, TX, native recently completed an internship with the American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC), the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
