Year 8 recently visited the , offering EC students an unforgettable experience of art, culture and creativity. They immersed themselves in the world of celebrated artists such as van Gogh, Cézanne and Seurat and learned about their unique brushwork and vivid colour choices as well as the mental state of the artists at the times of their masterpieces.
A drawing workshop provided students with an opportunity to practice observational drawing skills. Inspired by artefacts and the museum space itself, they responded with enthusiasm and creativity, making this trip a memorable one for our art students.

FS2 embarked on their first trip of the year to Dubai Aquarium this week.
They have spent the past few weeks working on their Under the Sea topic, learning all about sharks and other sea creatures. This trip enabled our little learners to see an array of underwater creatures and discover more facts about the underwater world.
Last week, our A-Level Biology cohort spent the day at Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Centre watching and participating in simulated practices of the rescue and research team.
It was an extension of their A-level curriculum and an incredible opportunity for our budding marine biologists. It also made some wonderful memories and future pathways for our Year 12’s and 13’s to take away, when they move onto their chosen universities.

Year 1 have been learning about 2-D and 3-D shapes in their STEAM lessons. They have been building a house for their teacher using as many different shapes as possible.
As part of the Dubai 30x30 initiative, our Year 5 students visited the Fitness Village to experience a fitness-focused environment outside of school.

This week, our students are taking a stand against bullying and learning about kindness and friendship. To kick off Anti-Bullying Week, everyone wore odd socks to celebrate what makes each of us unique.
Whilst our Secondary students are off at Camps Week, our Primary students are discovering what it means to be a good friend, embracing empathy, kindness, and inclusivity through fun activities and discussions.
Together, we’re creating a school community that’s supportive, inclusive and full of respect for one another.
