📌 Tomorrow kicks off our first day of "at-home learning". Our K-5 students should begin working on their packets, and all 6th grade students should check their email for instructions from their teachers.

📌 We appreciate all of your support as we navigate this process together. We are here on social media to help answer questions, but please remember that for questions regarding assignments or class procedures it's best to contact your child's teacher directly.

📌 We'll hold our first ever "Online Spirt Week" this week. There will be a post each day where you can submit your photos. We can't wait to see your creativity and smiling faces!
-Monday = Magical Monday. Wear your favorite Disney, Marvel, Pixar or Star Wars apparel.
-Tuesday = Tourist Tuesday. Dress as a tourist on vacation.
-Wednesday = Wake Up Wednesday. Wear your favorite pajamas all day!
-Thursday = Two Step Thursday. It's a western round up. Show off your boots, buckles and bandanas.
-Friday = Freedom Friday. Show your patriotism by wearing red, white and blue.

We have had confirmed cases of the flu, as well as stomach viral illness and strep throat. Please help protect each of our staff and students by following these guidelines:

1) Do not return to school until fever free for 24 hours without fever medication
2) Do not return to school until no vomiting/diarrhea for 24 hours
3) Do not attend school with eye crusting and pain
4) Do not return to school until 24 hours of antibiotic treatment when antibiotic treatment indicated by doctor
5) No medication can be given at school without written direction from a doctor and parental release. Please contact the nurse if this is needed.

🍂 Our {Fall Festival} is Saturday, October 12 from 3:00-5:30pm.

🍂 We'll have vendors, a silent auction, a cake walk, food vendors, a pumpkin patch, a dunking booth, games, hayrides, bouncy houses, a 50/50 raffle and more!

🍂 Wristbands are on sale now for the early-bird price of $8.00 each and can be purchased using the form coming home in Tuesday folders. After October 9, wristbands will be $10.00. Children 3 and under are FREE.

🍂 With a wristband you can enjoy unlimited time on the bouncy houses, popcorn, hayrides and games.

🍂 This is a community event... feel free to invite your friends and family who do not attend Balls Creek! Help us spread the word!

What an AMAZING first week of school!! I Loved 💚 seeing my students from last year and getting lots of hugs and smiles❣️ My new class is a wonderful group of students❣️❣️They are sweet, funny and so precious❣️❣️They had me smiling all week with the things they said and it is only the first week of school 💚💚😀 I am beyond excited for the year ahead❣️❣️

📌 On Monday our third graders have a field trip to Discovery Place.

📌 Join us on Tuesday for our performances of "Color The World with Kindness" and "Music Matters" starring our Kindergarten and 4th grade students. The performance starts at 6:00pm.

📌 Fifth graders will take a field trip to Old Salem on Thursday, while our sixth graders will get to participate in the Hovercraft Project.

Exciting news Balls Creek! On Friday, May 3 we plan to host our first annual Father/Daughter Masquerade Ball!

Invitations went home with girls in grades K-6 today. We plan to make this an evening to remember for our students and any father figure that would like to es**rt them. For planning purposes, you MUST RSVP by April 5. Look for response cards included with your invitation. We hope to see you on the dance floor!💃

Tomorrow is Chick-Fil-A Day in the car rider line!
