"She has such a gift for bringing out the best in young children. Several years ago, when our son was a Kindergartener and First Grader, he enjoyed many hours in Laura's company. She was both his first piano teacher and also his favorite babysitter. Our son had some hearing difficulties as a young boy due to severe ear infections, but Laura persevered in giving his first musical foundations. She made music fun for him, and gave him a great background in learning to read music which he continues to this day. Even though he switched from piano to violin so that he could play in his school orchestra, he will still return to the piano in free moments and still remembers the pieces Laura taught him!"
